Warranty Policy
At Crystal Lake Glass (CLG), we take pride in the quality of our glass and aluminum products and our professional installation services. This Warranty Policy outlines the terms, coverage, and conditions of our Labour and Hardware Warranties.
Labour Warranty – 1 Year
CLG provides a One (1) Year Labour Warranty on all installation services performed by our company, beginning from the date of project completion.
Coverage Includes:
Installation defects
Improper fitting or alignment
Workmanship-related operational issues
Labour required to correct installation deficiencies
If an installation issue arises within one year, CLG will repair or adjust the work at no additional labour cost.
Exclusions:
This labour warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect
Accidental or impact damage
Structural movement or settling of the building
Alterations or repairs performed by third parties
Improper maintenance or cleaning
Normal wear and tear
Hardware Warranty – 5 Years
All hardware supplied and installed by CLG is covered by a Five (5) Year Limited Hardware Warranty, effective from the date of installation.
This warranty covers defects in material or manufacturing under normal use and service conditions.
Exclusions:
The hardware warranty does not cover:
Damage due to misuse, abuse, or accidents
Improper cleaning or maintenance
Environmental conditions (including but not limited to moisture, chemicals, or coastal exposure)
Normal cosmetic wear or finish deterioration over time
Modifications or tampering after installation
Warranty Claim Procedure
To initiate a warranty claim, please contact CLG and provide:
Customer name and contact details
Project address
Installation date
Description of the issue
Photos or videos (if available)
CLG reserves the right to inspect the installation before approving warranty work.
