Glass specifications
For the manufacture of structures, we use two types of glass, which are characterized by high strength and durability. In appearance, such products turn out to be fragile and look aesthetically pleasing, and for verification they have unique technical characteristics.
Laminated glass
Two or more glass sheets are interconnected by intermediate polymer layers. There are film and jellied triplex. In the first case, a film is laid between the sheets and a hot press is applied. In the second, the glass is joined using a liquid polymer and exposed to ultraviolet light. Even with mechanical damage, the interlayer does not allow the fragments to scatter and holds them to a certain degree of load. Such glasses are used as bulletproof and even used as a floor on fully glazed balconies or stairs.
Characteristics of laminated glass:

- heat resistance;
- durability;
- aesthetics;
- resistance to blows and mechanical influences;
- transmits light well.
With a certain processing, it is possible to make the glass opaque or with colored inserts. For example, to decorate stair railings or floor coverings in an original way.
Tempered glass
Tempering is used to increase the strength of glass. First, the glass sheet is heated until softened, and then rapidly cooled. This provides mechanical and thermal stability. If the products break, they scatter into small pieces that do not pose a danger to humans. Tempered glass is not recommended for cutting in the standard way, so we use a laser or pre-annealing method.
Characteristics of tempered glass:

- impact resistance;
- resistance to vibrations;
- resistance to high temperatures;
- attractive appearance due to full transparency.
Unlike laminated glass, tempered glass cannot withstand point impacts. Glass from such an impact crumbles completely.
